Carefully formulated a tablet containing micronutrients which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. The ingredients included in this tablet are Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Zinc and Selenium.

Benefits

Vitamin A
Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that is available in two forms: retinol and beta-carotene. Our OV Immune System Boost tablets contain retinol, the source of Vitamin A that is normally found in animal products such as red meat, cheese, oily fish and eggs. Vitamin A has been used for centuries to treat ailments - its heritage dates back to as far as Ancient Greece.

Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C, otherwise known as ascorbic acid, is another element in these tablets. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Zinc
Zinc forms the active site of over 20 enzymes and contributes to the maintenance of the immune system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Zinc also contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, normal bones and normal vision.

Selenium
Our Selenium is extracted from Sodium Selenite, an inorganic form of Selenium that enters the food chain via the soil. Selenium is a trace mineral which is essential for our bodies in small amounts. Approximately 28 - 46% of all Selenium inside our bodies is stored in the skeletal muscle as Selenomethionine. Selenium is naturally found in foods such as mushrooms, garlic and brown rice. The mineral is essentially available in any plant grown on, or animal grazed on selenium-rich soil. Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
